Crometal is a recovered cooperative engaged in production of industrial shelving and scaffolding. Since we started working with them their production has increased sharply, the number of workers has doubled and their competitiveness has improved as well.
With the 12 loans the cooperative and La Base have formed a close relationship with a lot of trust. That is why we decided to help them with short | term loans to address specific financial issues. By doing so, the cooperative can catch up with cooperative salaries that were delayed and proceed with fewer problems. The cost for them and us is minimal.
Specifically now there is a significant downturn in orders which caused a financial mismatch waiting to be resolved in short term or they might be forced to address some possible alternatives. |
