Crometal is a recovered factory and coop dedicated to the production of industrial shelving and scaffolding. Ever since TWW:La Base began work with them, they have increased their production, duplicated the amount of workers and much improved their competitivity. The number of workers in the coop when we began our relationship was 18. it is currently 35, with 11 of them from this year.
THroughout 11 loans, the coop and La Base have solidified a very close and trusting relationship. Crometal | has grown enormously and the type of challenges they have come across have changed accordingly. By year's end, a series of delays in customers' payments prevented them from paying themselves before the holidays, so they resorted to a TWW:La Base cash line to help them cover the financial gap. At a very low effort for La base, since they will give us a check ready to be deposited, we will be able to collaborate in the coop having an end of the year that corresponds with their great work year. |
