La Leonesa once again scored the huge government contract for honey for the Christmas baskets of all its employees.  The Working World again was there to provide non-extractive capital so La Leonesa could fill this order and make a great profit in the process.  It’s worth noting that filling these huge orders isn’t just possible because of this working capital loan, but also because of the production center La Leonesa built last year, also with capital from The Working World fund.

Having paid back all its loans to date, La Leonesa is an incredible example of the power of people and cooperatives when provided the resources.
