Nicaraguan beekeeping co-ops La Leonesa and Los Maribios have each so far received and installed half of their new hives\u201430 for La Leonesa and 70 for Los Maribios. With a loan from TWW, these co-ops were able to front the counterpart funds necessary to access this important government grant. This is the first step in a process of expansion that will be a game changer for both cooperatives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La Leonesa has already completed the renovations on its processing plant necessary to expand its production capacity. Los Maribios has incorporated nine new members into the cooperative in order to respond to the workload increase.
